Dr. Savannah Volkoff and Paige Varner attended the Superfund Research Program 2019 Annual Meeting in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Volkoff, who completed her PhD in 2019 with Dr. Gunsch as her advisor, presented a talk titled "Developing a Bioamendment for the Field Delivery of a PAH-Degrading Biofilm to Sediments". Paige Varner presented a poster titled "Investigating the impact of ecological growth strategies on plasmid transfer to model and promote a precision bioremediation framework".
