Congratulations to former PhD candidate Savannah Volkoff for successfully defending her dissertation entitled "Engineering a Biofilm for the Biodegradation of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons in Estuarine Sediment" in June. She has now begun work as a Senior Staff Professional at Geosyntec in Raleigh, NC.
