Kimberly is a Master's student of Environmental Management at the Nicholas School of the Environment. After graduating from University of North Carolina at Wilmington, she worked as an aquarium educator for almost a year before coming to Duke. Her research is on the bioremediation of PAH compounds using fungal and bacterial strains. The bioremediated products will be tested for their toxicity using zebrafish as a model.
